Germany – UK Photonics Visit

QuantIC presents to a business delegation of German Photonic industries.
The QuantIC Hub was delighted to attend the German-UK Photonics visit on 22 May at Strathclyde Business School.
The visit, organised by Trade Horizons and hosted by Fraunhofer CAP, included 9 German SMEs in various subsectors of photonics such as semiconductors, lasers, optics and sensors.
Chris Payne-Dwyer, Business Development Manager of QuantIC said; “We were pleased to support the visit of the German companies which is focused on fostering networking with British industry. There are clear technologies in which both nations share mutual interests, and we have already made connections.”
Having explored the Scottish photonic clusters, delegates will continue their trade mission across the UK, visiting semiconductor clusters in Bristol and the surrounding southwest region.
