Girls into Physics

QuantIC supports the Institute of Physics (IoP) Girls into Physics events in Glasgow
The QuantIC team were delighted to support the Institute of Physics (IoP) Girls into Physics events on 17th January and 7th February in the Advanced Research Centre (ARC), University of Glasgow.
The events are designed to encourage high school students to think about a career in physics and improve the gender balance through a series of interactive workshops, games and discussions.
The IoP promotes physics for the benefit of all and aims to dismantle the barriers to inclusion in physics.
The events were extremely well attended and the girls who attended showed great enthusiasm and skill in tackling the challenges set to them, showing ambition and hard work.
We look forward to welcoming the groups and future physicists of the future back to the QuantIC stand!
