Tha Taigh na Gàidhlig na phàirt cudromach de dh'obair UofG Gàidhlig, is e a' toirt cothrom sònraichte do dh'oileanaich Gàidhlig a chleachdadh gu làitheil agus ann an suidheachaidhean neo-fhoirmeil. Bidh an sgeama a' cur gu mòr ri misneachd nan oileanach agus na pàtrain cleachdaidh Gàidhlig aca.

Taigh na Gàidhlig - a unique residency scheme which provides Gaelic-speaking students with the opportunity to live in a Gaelic-speaking environment for one academic year.

The Taigh na Gàidhlig scheme plays a pivotal role in the work of UofG Gàidhlig and aims to support students in using Gaelic on a daily basis and in everyday situations including their home life. The scheme contributes greatly to the confidence of young Gaelic-speakers to use the language regularly and helps to develop positive usage patterns which can last a lifetime.
