Research Training Support Grant (RTSG)

Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) funded students can apply to have certain expenses reimbursed through a Research Training Support Grant (RTSG).

RTSG can also be claimed by non ESRC-funded students who are attending a Scottish Graduate School of Social Science (SGSSS) event.

RTSG involving travel must follow the university travel booking policy.  When booking accomodation, it is important to note that the use of AirBnB is currently prohibited.

SGSSS funded expenses such as RTSG are not handled through the university's Online Student Expenses Process.  Succesful RTSG applicants will receive an email on how to claim reimbursment.
