CONNECT WITH CLIMATE CHANGE

  • Connect with Climate Change: Sharing Ideas, Inspiring Actions
  • Connect with Climate Change Podcast Series

The University of Glasgow, in partnership with ScottishPower and the University of Strathclyde hosted a virtual exchange series which took place throughout 2021 in the run up to COP26.

In advance of COP26 coming to Glasgow, ‘Connect with Climate Change’ engaged with academics, students, public and businesses to share ideas and views on a range of climate change topics. This series of virtual events encouraged “real time” discussions around the different climate issues and provided a forum where, through open dialogue, convention could be questioned to act as a catalyst for positive sustainable change.

The Connect with Climate Change Podcast Series features Prof Deirdre Shaw, Centre for Sustainable Solutions Associate Director and Professor of Marketing and Consumer Research, in conversation with Prof Tim Jackson, Director of the Centre for the Understanding of Sustainable Prosperity and Professor of Sustainable Development at the University of Surrey, on the topic of sustainable consumption.
