ARC-XR provides access to a wide range of XR software designed to accommodate diverse user needs—from ready-to-use, off-the-shelf applications requiring no setup, to flexible development platforms for creating custom immersive experiences at any technical skill level.
- Meta for Education and ArborXR: mobile device management systems for streamlined provisioning, remote content deployment, and user experience optimization across headsets.
- Unity: industry-standard engine for 3D and XR application development.
- Edify: no-code platform for creating custom interactive 3D experiences, ideal for rapid prototyping.
- Wirecast Pro: professional-grade software for real-time chroma key compositing, live streaming, and green screen recording
- Nanome, ChimeraX and PyMOL: molecular visualisation and modelling with XR integration
- Off-the-shelf XR content: a curated selection of commercial XR simulations, educational applications, and games.
Custom Software Support
In addition to our existing library, we offer a bespoke software sourcing service tailored to your specific research objectives. New software titles can be procured to support novel or domain-specific use cases. Our team works directly with users to evaluate, source, and deploy software solutions that best fit their project needs.
