Transnational Education (TNE)
Transnational education (TNE), as defined at University of Glasgow (UofG), is the mode of teaching delivery by which students around the world are given the opportunity to study in their own country for a University of Glasgow degree. Currently numbering 10% of our total student population, TNE students are a valuable part of our international UofG community.
Since 2011, UofG has been engaged with TNE delivery. We are proud of our three successful TNE partnerships, offering a range of programmes to students in China and Singapore at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. Our TNE partnerships are:
- The University of Glasgow – Nankai University Joint Graduate School (Tianjin, China)
- Glasgow College, UESTC (Chengdu, China) and Glasgow College Hainan, UESTC (Hainan, China) in partnership with the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC)
- University of Glasgow Singapore in partnership with Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT)
